This Convention is returning once more, awakening the beast to unleash fun, fangs, fans, and a famous time! It is a great and well-run convention and film festival, there’s so much to do and see, and I know everyone says the same thing about other cons, but this one as that IT Factor.
Filmmaker and Convention Owner Ryan Scott Weber built the event from a humble start, and nurtured this hungry monster into a behemoth which has a rabid fanbase. Over the years whether a hotel or now a Convention Center there’s a slew of incredible guests, some that I have had the pleasure of meeting for an extended period time, it always felt when one is there it is home away from home. Everyone is welcoming, agreeable, just horror fans, wearing tees of their favorite horror movies, no one judging no bullying, just mischievous grins and eyes darting in multiple directions.

Therefore, let’s dive into this extensive guest list. It’s a GREAT one! As is the norm convention have large and mini reunion this one is no different.
First up if Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood [1988] with Kane Hodder and Lar Park Lincoln, you all know this is going to be a huge draw, long lines so wear something comfortable and be prepared to stand for a while. But wait there’s more, Kane is also part of the Victor Crowley reunion with the fun Felissa Rose and Adam Green … and one great aspect a Pro Photo Op of Kane in full costume as Jason Voorhees the version of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan [1989].
Oh, did I mention that Director Adam Marcus of Jason Goes to Hell [1993] which you all know also starred Kane!
Another wonderful mini-reunion for Child’s Play 2 which has Christine Elise and Alex Vincent!
Then an early announcement which grew with anticipation, is Hocus Pocus, with slew of great celebrity guests, that includes Kathy Najimy, Thora Birch, Jason Marsden, Omri Katz, and Vinessa Shaw.
Don’t fret they have ONE MORE mini reunion! It’s The Lost Boys with G Tom Mac, Jamison Newlander, and Chance Michael Corbitt.
There are more celebrity guests who are still fantastic people to meet even though they aren’t part of a reunion. From the legendary films Night of the Living Dead [1968] and The Return of the Living Dead [1985] it’s John Russo.
The Grimm Life Collective, stars on YouTube are returning once more to visit with their numerous fans.
And Shannyn Sossamon (Sinister 2) as well as Michael Hargrove (Candyman [2021]).
And Just Announced: Raushan Hammond who starred in Tales from the Crypt and Hook. There might even more, come and see!
Hey music fans here are TWO guests for you to meet first is Dr. Chud and then Gina Schock…
Aside from seeing the guest there’s numerous vendors table filled with Merchandise, Independent Filmmakers promoting their flicks and Authors galore!
Also, for the price of admission you can go the numerous panels to freely take photos of the guests and ask questions, and while I have not seen the new set-up I presume the Panels are intermixed with the Film Festival which you also should attend.
Among the panels one from and about Horror Authors occurs on Friday Night, and on Saturday there’s TWO back-to-back with a Hocus Pocus Reunion and Friday the 13th; finally on Sunday two more panels each an hour in length first Christine Elise and then The Lost Boys Reunion.
Don’t forget there’s a Film Festival occurring all three days with the awards show at 6:15p on April 20, Saturday, in the Film Festival Room.
