***The Extreme in Any Manner Leaves a Lasting Impression! *** – Baron Craze
Well, horror friends, fiends, and fans, if you are reading this, you survived Halloween and it’s 11 years before it returns on a Saturday. However, the end of the year barrels quickly ahead, and we have to encounter the snappy good, enriched storylines from Hallmark. Now I know that I stated our Hounds of Hell (lawyers) for our Ghost Galleon of The Horror Times said was to resolved by October 8th but sadly did not happen then it was pushed to 15th and then finally 29th. While I cannot reveal all the tidbits for another six weeks due to paperwork I can say the two lawsuits have ended. This means we can start publishing again and launching podcasts very soon. One suit was more of a bothersome mess, but it threatens our First Amendment rights, so it was a delicately handled case the other – sorry that has a gag order still in place, but some ways the overlapped each other in some areas. I know there is no way we can catch up the full year in 8 weeks, but we will try our best, some have been asking why we did not write during all the down months, we did not know if things were going to change drastically, therefore we were advised to just hold. Yeah, it sucks!
So, for my October I spent it attending movies, staying out of the way of photos, no social media posts, lived as a ghost. The most films I saw in a day at the theater was four, a very long day, but fun with the gate person checking tickets, the average was 2 films and also used multiple streaming sites and even a Blu-ray Day. Successfully done with 90-minutes to 3-hours of sleep a day – the insane Baron way! One movie called Crawlers [2026] I took my girl to see it, who I knew would be creeped out by it, I brought a small rubber spider with a string tied around its main body and at the right moment I toss it onto her touching her mouth talk about a freak-out the popcorn flew it was the first of a series surprise spider launches from me. I had my own 4D theater experience for her. Nevertheless, it got better at home she went to laundry room in the basement and on the dryer was a Daddy Longlegs spider waiting for and she screamed and turned to hit a cobweb….
Therefore, we are back and shall give the best efforts in the last two months of the year. Let the blood rain, the skin scrape, the cutting and slashing ensue, to the delight of horror fans and exploit the nightmares of the thinned-skinned.
