Another month has past and of course more movies watched, the listing from friends definitely has a pattern – tons of anniversary movies but a few new ones, three were released this year of 2022 and spoiler one definitely lacks with a consistent plot line called Firestarter, the original is far more entertaining. In fact, there’s a few that are obscure, and frankly some may question and some hope in the world are they discovering these lost gems. Therefore with 31 days I saw 56 films, averaging almost 2 movies a day, and some were reviewed already but when I can see a film released on the anniversary date, I will strive to watch it, as to relive the moment it first graces the screen whether at a theater or television. Once, more it contains five Alfred Hitchcock flicks, that coincide with the class I am lecturing; and yes one is the legendary Psycho [1960]; I know how many times can I speak about this movie, well let me say countless times, I will go just about anywhere to the opportunity to speak about that movie and Hitchcock’s incredible skills, and talents used frequently by directors of nowadays. Allow, the time to dive into the numbers, the oldest film on the list is The Unknown [1927] marking its 95^th anniversary, and the second oldest was The Corpse Vanishes from 1942, hence 80-years-old. The two most popular decades were the 70s and 80s with 10-flms from each. Oh, last since May 23^rd was my birthday I watched two movies the first was Craze [1974] and The Burning [1981]; it all serves as the dedication to the genre I enjoy so much and top the readers of the site to see what I horrors come before my eyes.
