Welcome to the Indiegogo campaign for The Barn Part II, a sequel to the multiple award-winning Halloween horror film The Barn. Help make the next chapter a reality! – Justin M. Seaman, Director

Happy Halloween! I’m Justin the director of the 80s monster/slasher throwback horror film THE BARN…an adult Goosebumps with boobs and blood! First off, I want to thank you for helping me successfully finish THE BARN by donating to my crowd funding campaign right here on Indiegogo. You made a dream come true for me and now is your chance to be a part of the next chapter of my Halloween tale.

You might recall my story about how I wrote THE BARN in 1993 when I was 8 years old and then with the help of a lot of dedicated people, 22 years later that idea became a reality. Since then the film has screened across the globe and brought back multiple awards. The horror community has embraced the film with such love that it validated all the troubles we went thru to create this Halloween bad boy. After running a successful crowd funding campaign for The Barn, I soon realized how important and great it is to help fellow artists make their dreams come true too. Since then I have supported over 30 projects on Indiegogo, Kickstarter, GoFundMe and other platforms.

What Is This Campaign About?

Well it never fails, after every Q&A or convention I attend I get the same question – “So when is the sequel happening???”

The answer…As soon as I raise the funds. That’s right, I am here today calling on your help to make The Barn Part II. What many people don’t know is that I wrote the sequel when I was 10 and it was called THE BARN PART II: ZOMBIE RAILROAD.

What’s the film about? Well without ruining the story completely here are some details:

The surviving cast is returning including Linnea Quigley and Ari Lehman.

It’s a continuation of the first film and takes place in the early 1990s.

It will of course be a Halloween film.

It will be based off the original Part II story as well as the updated content of the first film.

And perhaps it contains zombies to some degree…perhaps.

There are many questions that went unanswered in PART 1: What happens to Sam and Josh and Michelle, does Ms. Barnhart stay true to her word to ban Halloween in Helen’s Valley, and what was up with The Boogeyman’s helmet having the name DANIELS written on it (ya know our hero Sam’s last name)? Well to be honest the original film was written to setup the story arc in the event of a sequel and keep an authentic flow. I want this next film to have the same fun schlocky charm as the first, but be much darker, creepier and gorier…more monsters, more kills, more Halloween!

Here is the review to The Barn (part1).

Teacher Shortage

Teachers at a small town high school are stalked by a masked killer. Starring horror icon Brinke Stevens.

Goal:  $10,000

Have:  $ 5,191

Differ: $ 4,809

Days to Go: 9

Percentage Funded: 51.9%

Teacher Shortage will be the third feature film from independent film company Fright Meter Films and Writer/Producer/Director Troy Escamilla.  Party Night, Escamilla’s first feature, was recently released by Wild Eye Releasing and is available to purchase online from Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy and several other large retailers and is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime.   His second feature Stirring recently completed a very successful festival run; it screened as an Official Selection at several festivals and conventions, including Texas Frightmare Weekend, Days of the Dead, New Jersey Horror Con, Scares that Care Weekend, Something Wicked Film Festival, Shock Stock, The International Horror Hotel, Midwest Horror Festival, Tucson Terrorfest, Scare A Con, and the San Antonio Horrific Film Festival, where it won Best Feature Film.  Escamilla also won the Best Director award from the Crimson Screen Horror Film Festival.

The film will be released November 13th via Wild Eye Releasing under the title Mrs. Claus.

Teacher Shortage is indeed another slasher film, but what makes this one different from typical slasher films that feature high school or college aged kids as the victims, this film will focus on a group of teachers at a small town high school who are being stalked by a mysterious masked killer.

Plot:   What is supposed to be an educational and collaborative weekend professional development session for the English Department of Prescott High School instead turns into a blood soaked nightmare when a masked killer targets them.

Brinke Stevens is a horror icon and Scream Queen who has appeared in over 156 films, including the 80’s cult classics The Slumber Party Massacre and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl o Rama.   I had the pleasure of working with her on my last film, Stirring, and am thrilled to have her back!

Kaylee Williams has made quite a name for herself in the indie horror community these past few years, having appeared in such films as Model Hunger, Porkchop 3D, Ahockalypse and will appear in the anticipated upcoming Don’t F*ck in the Woods 2 and Savage Vengeance. I also worked with Kaylee on Stirring and know firsthand how talented she is!

Roger Connors is recognized as one of Cleveland Ohio’s premier independent film actors and has become a well-known name within the cult-horror scene after appearing in a wide array of widely publicized b-horror classics such as Hellementary: An Education in Death and Chill: The Killing Game.   More recently, Roger can be seen in such films as The Colours of Desire, Rebirth, Fighting the Sky, Mother Krampus 2: Slay Ride, and American Poltergeist: The Curse of Lilith Ratchet.

A horror anthology, made for horror fans by horror fans! Our goal from day one was to bring fans of the genre something cool, innovative and fun in the realm of horror anthologies. We’ve created two films that have resonated with audiences and now we’re asking for their support one final time. Help us cap off this blood soaked franchise with the biggest and best installment with Devil’s Knight: Volumes of Blood 3.

  • Blood Moon Pictures was started in 2015 by creator/producer P.J. Starks and producer Eric Huskisson after the first Volumes of Blood took everyone by surprise. The goal was to continue the franchise of Volumes of Blood and as well as producing entertaining genre films at a relatively low cost. Volumes of Blood has garnered tons of praise from both critics and horror fans alike. We look forward to completing this trilogy of terror with the help of those who love horror as well as those who’ve inspired us to create the last and final chapter

Three stories of torment, madness and terror… each with its own distinct aesthetic and sub-genre.

Achieved: $53,000     Goal:  $50,000

Horror fans have eclectic tastes and THE DEVIL MAKES THREE offers something for everybody: A tense psychological thriller in the vein of Repulsion and Rear Window.  A white-knuckle rollercoaster ride that evokes slasher classics like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and High Tension. And finally, an occult mystery that combines the ‘flower child’ paganism of The Wicker Man with the psychological horror of Rosemary’s Baby. Tonally and aesthetically, they’re markedly different — but that’s the idea; Different shades of horror under one umbrella.

Just One of the Stories:

Reeling from an ugly breakup, Jane finds solace in her apartment with a bottle of wine. But her imposing neighbor and the strange sounds from his apartment feed her increasing sense of unease. It’s when she discovers a hole in a shared wall that her paranoia reaches a fever pitch.
