Well, it was clear friends had some fun with this month and with me, as my vision really started to improve all thanks to one doctor. The viewing habits really were all over the place from great flicks to the wretched. I was able to enjoy the Nightmare on Elm Street documentary, and of course three films in the theater, one a re-release of Annabelle [2014]; bloody horror comedy Clown in a Cornfield [2025] and the continued franchise Final Destination: Bloodlines [2025]. Then there were two classic movies include The Shining and The Final Countdown [1980] a film produced by Lloyd Kaufman, the same who started Troma films, but that is not the sole reason why it is special it was a favorite of my father, a World War II U.S. Marine, hence a film for us to share. There were four films that were shared in celebrating their 90th anniversary all released in 1935: One Frightened Night, The Raven, Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Werewolf of London. Lastly, 1980 repeated the performance from last month as the most popular decade by having 11-films in month of 30-viewing -days to see 38-flicks.
