***The Extreme in Any Manner Leaves a Lasting Impression! *** – Baron Craze
Well friends and fiends, things upon our ghost galleon have gone wacky once more – ugh. Let me see if I right our doomed vessel, first 2025 has been a terrible year, from eyesight issues in the first quarter, to now an ongoing medical issue from August 15th. We started on a good, plotted course to finish out the year with some major projects ahead of us, however they all dash way in ruins. A hospital stay destroyed Chompfest 2025 although since there is still time before summer is officially over in United States and sharks are hungry year-round will get it done. I was informed that I likely have another gloomy hospital stay coming up so at least I will catch up on my reading of the books that were sent to me to review. In four days, I attempt to do so much, one thing done was the missing Visions of Horror and Revisiting Past Horrors columns – yep January to August. Also informed all walking and touring of cemeteries and other spooky locations will return for me in 2026.
Now onto happier news I did receive Vix (a curious writer of ours) latest review though it needs an edited, way too long. I will work with her on her style, she has unbridled talent and Vincent got back into the groove with two reviews, yippee. One thing we have heard from our readers is thanks for no pop-up ads, the only one which can’t control is WordPress subscriber ad, otherwise no advertising, we, here at The Horror Times always strive to keep the focus on the materials to enjoy whether it’s podcasts, new releases, articles, and reviews of film, books and music. That goal is never to change that while doing our best to stay away from politics and religion (unless they are religious-horror films). We feel the world, computers, tablets, and phones are pounded by the topic and we like to stay with the entertainment.
At the time of writing this greeting we are in the pipeline for another interesting horror -Halloween season, the films are rolling out in theaters and on every streaming and the advance press releases look interesting. Though, note the following warning Hallmark is starting even early this year on October 18 ugh. This means we of the horror kingdom must crank more wholesome looking horror to turn it halfway into scary gorefest – sounds like fun!
