Just two films to be returned, but vastly different in their quality a classic 30’s production and another from 2015 (which seemed to be a common year with movies watched this year). For the curious the films are separated by 80-years, and yet the first movie shall likely be always remembered while the other to slip into the darkness slowly.

The Bride of Frankenstein [1935]
SUMMARY PER IMDB: Mary Shelley reveals the main characters of her novel survived: Baron Henry Frankenstein, goaded by an even madder scientist, builds his monster a mate.
WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: Sometime in the 70s, I watched it so many times, as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 7.8/10
MY RATE THEN: 8.5/10
HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: No way, I do enjoy the story and style of filmmaking, a fine sequel to the original movie Frankenstein [1931]. This movie had to contend with Hays code, Catholic League both which generated severe censorship, yet made a quality film that has tested the endurance of time and still ranks near the pinnacle level of enjoyable cinema.

Sorrow [2015]
SUMMARY PER IMDB: A couple of depraved killers find themselves in a different situation when the survivor takes matters into her own hands.
WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: October 2022
THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 2.6/10
MY RATE THEN: 2.5/10
HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: No, sadly the primary downfall of the film is the lack of proper funding, which affected the usage of special efforts, and likely casting too. Overall, still a ho-hum movie, with quite a bit but dullness in many scenes.
