Unlike other reviewers of films, they rarely ever revisit their work to see if their opinion has changed, did they gain further knowledge on the topic of cinema, perhaps they matured, and their viewpoint has become more enhanced. However, I am not afraid to return to my work to see the movie again and re-evaluate what I wrote before to see if my views changed.

Hell Fire [2015]

WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: March 2015

THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 3.4/10

MY RATE THEN: 3.0/10

HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: No, the IMDb rating increase to 3.6. but I did not see anything that spiked my interest any further, except the gore scenes do fit thoroughly well into the lower end of video market of grindhouse.

Satan’s Triangle [1975]

SUMMARY PER IMDB: A US coast guard finds only a woman still alive aboard a shipwreck. She tells her rescuer what happened and soon, they find themselves trapped in a mysterious part of the ocean known as Satan’s Triangle.

WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: Back in the 80s, and over the years a few other times

THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 6.6/10

MY RATE THEN: 6.0/10

HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: Yes, I would lower my rating to 5.5/10 because I now understand more about the subgenre of haunted tales and those set on ships, it doesn’t compel enough suspense and the disbelief for the audience only lasts for so long before becoming tiresome. The action sequences do not last enough which is tough with only two primary characters and third in the distance, although Dead Calm [1989].

*****                                    *****                                    *****

Tremors [1990]

SUMMARY PER IMDB: Natives of a small, isolated town defend themselves against strange underground creatures which are killing them one by one.

WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: January 19, 1990 in the theater, and since many, many times

THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 7.1/10

MY RATE THEN: 8.0/10

HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: No, I still think it is a crafty monster story, and the characters and their actions as well as attitudes are all believable.

Surrounded by these thirsty zombies, Michael and Harper have their hands full to survive – and it will take all of their ingenuity to make their way out to try and find Gabi.

WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: Likely in 2015 or a tad later

THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 6.3/10

MY RATE THEN: 6.0/10

HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: No, it was a good zombie flick then and still is, almost every nation has some sort of variation of the subgenre zombie plague or apocalypse and this one fairs very well with regard

*****                                    *****                                    *****

The Witch [2015]

SUMMARY PER IMDB: An isolated Puritan family in 1630s New England comes unraveled by the forces of witchcraft and possession.

WHEN I SAW IT DATE ORIGINALLY: February 22, 2016 in the Regal theater in Burlington, NJ, 4-days after release on February 19th.

THE IMDB RATE AT TIME OF REV: 6.9/10

MY RATE THEN: 7.5/10

HAS MY VIEW CHANGE: No, my review was originally done in March 2016, and I still feel that story, shows the hypocrisy of how ignorance led a person and family members astray while blending in the devil and his conjuring power.
