FOUND TV, the global hub for all things found footage, is thrilled to announce the exclusive streaming debut of Found Footage Finds, a five-episode docu-series from filmmaker Chris Vander Kaay. This new series explores the artistry, evolution, and cultural legacy of one of horror’s most misunderstood—and fiercely beloved—subgenres: found footage.

The series will premiere on Wednesday, June 4, exclusively on FOUND TV. Audiences will be able to stream the first two episodes on launch, with new episodes dropping weekly every Wednesday through the end of June.

Found Footage Finds offers a fresh perspective on the found footage genre through in-depth commentary, rare insights, and passionate storytelling. Chris Vander Kaay guides viewers through a curated journey of genre-defining moments and behind-the-scenes creativity that has driven found footage filmmaking for decades. The series highlights the work of a diverse range of filmmakers whose inventive approaches helped shape and expand the genre. Rather than focusing solely on mainstream hits, Found Footage Finds celebrates the bold, boundary-pushing voices that experimented with form and narrative, drawing attention to their unique contributions and the lasting impact they’ve made on horror cinema.

FOUND TV president and CEO Louie La Vella states, “With a reputation for supporting indie found footage filmmakers, FOUND TV continues to elevate the voices and creators behind this innovative style of storytelling. Found Footage Finds is a natural addition to the platform’s growing slate of exclusives, reinforcing its mission to be the definitive home for fans of the genre. Very happy to have FOUND TV premiere the series and to work with Chris.”
