That’s right horror fans, fanatics and friends this fan-created event is back at the Showboat in Atlantic City after a lengthy hiatus the monster is coming back to stomp for bloodthirsty terrors and plenty of screaming fans. Southern New Jersey is a cool place for our beloved genre, the fan base lines up for a thrilling enjoyable time – but it’s no longer 3-days everything is crammed into a two day blitz of excitement, all the time and preparation unleashed for your dazzling eyeballs to consume. There’re no lulls at every possible minute there’s more and more things to see, do and plenty of guests to meet.
MAY 17th and 18th – Saturday and Sunday
One the coolest improvements is the film festival and panels are being held in the same room, so no more hauling to multiple rooms you could spend time and dollars in the guest room before lounging for sheer entertain here, and definitely – get the worth of ticket price. Therefore, one Saturday you have three major panels
SATURDAY – 10A TO 7P
11:00 am and last 45-minutes, its Friday the 13th V Reunion Melanie Kinnaman (who I have met before and had a brief interview with) along with Bob DeSimone and Ron Sloan and can’t overlook Dick Wieand.
Although speaking of this reunion there are others occurring and even a touch of Friday the 13th world, among this macabre universe one may see Kane Hodder as well as C.J. Graham (Friday the 13th, Part VI: Jason Lives),
Kane will be avail for Pro-Photo Op as well able to sign his book Unmasked and the author Mike Alosi … But wait, there’s a mini reunion for Jason X, with Hodder, Steve Nappe and Kristi Angus
2:00 pm and once lasting 45-minutes is Thanksgiving Panel that is also another small reunion blast! On hand is Alex Armbruster, Karen Cliche, Jenna Warren, and Gabriel Davenport – give thanks for attending by visiting their tables.
There’re two other reunions as always returning champs Christine Elise and Alex Vincent of Child’s Play 2 fame
5:00 pm and setting the tone for the rest of the night is Pet Semetary Panel that will include Miko Hughes, Brad Greenhouse, and Andrew Hubatsek
But hold onto your seats as 6pm it NJ Horror Con Stellar and highly Creative Cos-Play Contest
Then… Be on hand filmmakers to claim your Awards, your time to shine, mingle with other talents to create new horrific nightmares!
SUNDAY 10A TO 4P
Then Sunday, will speed by very quickly, better hope you get it all done meet and greet spend your money and that precious time wisely think of it as survival video game, accomplish the goals in record time, because many will join in for a special engagement of Stream and the panel to a duration of nearly 3-hours – WOW!
Fret not, cause there’s a slew of others to see Shawn Roberts famous for the Resident Evil films but is on hand for a micro reunion with Matt Birman for the film Land of the Dead…
Another two returning talents, the wonderful Lita Ford.
And the immortal Felissa Rose
Cannot forget …. Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist)
Just like Horror Movies the Con has rules too one needs to remember for a meaningful adventure and survival to fill your gooey memories for a very long time or at least to the next one.
- Set A Budget, stick to it
- Figure out who is a must see
- Bring a bag for your autograph items
- Dress proper, yeah cool boots but are they great standing a long time
- You won’t have the ability due time restrictions to haul ass back to the hotel room
