***The Extreme in Any Manner Leaves a Lasting Impression! *** – Baron Craze
Welcome to our high holy month Horror fiends, fans, fanatics, and friends, this is the month we all look forward to, that time when our everyday uniqueness becomes almost everyone’s normalcy; hence time to embrace and enjoy it to the best of our abilities. Some plan trips others stay local, and rest living portions of NJ, Halloween is more/less cancelled as informed no trick-or-treaters allowed on the block because of how torn to hell the road, ground and sidewalks have become. However, I am still decorating inside with the Texas Chain Saw Massacre theme – oh wait that’s the same every day!
This month, really showcases an incredible number of films released not just on the numerous VOD sites but also in the theaters that one check out, especially those anniversaries, such The Texas Chain Saw Massacre [1974], Halloween [1978], Saw (unrated) [2004] as well as the release of Terrifier 3 [2024] and Smile 2 [2024], and I bet there’s countless more to see.
Here at The Horror Times, we thought a new writer joining the ranks but sadly they flaked, it is a common trait that many review sites experience, therefore we are moving along with our five writers, Vincent, Vix (hoping more from here after she finishes the current semester), 3C who has become more comfortable with her style and of course yours truly. We consider ourselves The Ghost Galleon, our long shadows reaching out to all and enjoying the fun we present to you all. Basically, we strive to present the best product for all to enjoy without any advertising or pop-up ads, a very clean site for the most part. Therefore, after a rough start to the month we are unleashing the workload, and trying to deliver the goods of news, press releases, reviews, and those podcasts, let the nightmare begin!
Speaking of reviews, often sites generate more on a theme to celebrate the Halloween season, we have decided to do as many in all subgenres of Horror allowing for multiple tastes to surge forward and devour, thereby creating more treats for one to enjoy.
