One is consistent in the column, it is always a mixed bag of horrific delights and nightmares, for some picking a new relatively unknown movie is like descending into a rabbit hole except instead of find a bloodstained Alice in Wonderland you find a 10-eyed monster wearing pink leotards, alright nothing bad is on the list although a DOA movie Tooth Fairy [2019] was on the list, ugh; still not the worst I’ve seen I believe Shark Exorcist [2014] still holds that rusty crown, a 1.3 rating out of 10. Well, let’s venture forth to discover what is inside the numbers, first in 30-days I saw 38-flicks, and that was with 3-days off for personal reasons and seven films were viewed as a revisit to past reviews, and mighty big decline in the number of TV Movies which was two. Shockingly the oldest films were Horrors of the Black Museum [1959] and The Curse of the Living Corpse [1964] earning recognition of 65 and 60anniversaries respectively. In addition, the most popular decade this time around was the 1970s with nine movies, the 1980s and 2000s clocked in with eight flicks each. Oh, one mustn’t forget about the two motion pictures on the list, unwanted and dreadful The First Oman, that I attended only because of a free promotional ticket and the highly more entertaining and definitely bloodier Abigail which when reviewed will have an interesting back story to inform many about.
