It is a delight to work with more murky, twisted, and engrossing death metal and Fathomless Ritual‘s music scratches that itch very well. Their music is delectably old school but brutal and convoluted enough to retain your attention. The brainchild of Brendan Dean (Gutvoid, Fumes, Pukewraith), Fathomless Ritual deliver an album chock-full of riffs and jangly hooks with escalating song structures culminating in cranial implosions.
