Welcome once more horror fans, the mission given to first by the owner of the site saturated my eyeballs with tons of horror, but after turning the decision making to friends, fans, and fanatics simply enough and sometimes I add a special movie into the mix too. It has decided long ago that September is considered part of the Halloween season, as the haunted houses businesses held auditions in August and a few shake-out performs occur in the early weeks before fine tuning them by the end, then the stores started unleashing the goodies as well as the New Releases start piling the lists and Press Releases mount quickly. Overall, I saw 38 films and that was in 25-days of availability two of those were in theaters which was The Nun II and a mystery-thriller with horror undertones A Haunting in Venice which was based from adaption of Agatha Christie’s Halloween Party. As for the most popular decades a tie amongst two, the 1980s and 2010s with nine flicks apiece, additionally, there was film on the list celebrated a 100th-anniversary that is The Hunchback of Notre Dame [1923], the next closest to the magnificent remembrance of the film is from Donovan’s Brain [1953]. There 7 films on the list done in conjunction with the Revisiting Horrors Column, with one very special movie that most likely aren’t aware of the backstory, Toxic Zombies [1980] it has become our staple movie to watch on September 11 (9/11) a day which I observe greatly, the director of that film was Charles McCrann who was murdered in the World Trade Center towers on that fateful day. Oh the 50th anniversary films, there were three on them which again signaled out because this was the year I was born.
