Editor’s Greeting for April 2023

Greetings to all fans, friends and bloodthirsty fiends, April always signifies an interesting turn as it marks the entering of the second quarter of the year, it’s a time to truly start launching new film projects, script designs and for some to advance business projects/adjustments. As for myself, in March it marked the beginning of the new trend of realizing my mobility limitations and thankfully due to physical therapy it is helping.

An interesting development in the world of review and media sites, the implementation of “Trigger Warnings” the phrase to me is enough to bring someone to alert and awareness mode, frankly ridiculous because what is sensitive to one person is not to everyone else. Therefore, per WordPress, hosting sites, and other entities as well as the ownership of the page this measure has been advised to take very seriously; I’ll handle as a one-time, separate post here-in of our April 2023 issue entitled “Red Alert: The Horror Times Trigger Warning” and then shall always be footnoted as a disclaimer.

Now for something equally different, there has been an increase of discussion concerning A-I, and how it is all-knowing faster than mere mortals, advanced knowledge ability to write reviews and articles without problems, but is it true? Well here at my homestead, there was an experiment done last month and we have the results, quick question, do you think I more than A-I does on the horror genre the evaluation is quite amazing and hilarious.

One has likely noticed the lengthy delay in posting the greeting and even releasing podcast shows and such well as you all know I do work in promotions and was asked to create something vastly new, bizarre to some but it’s quite a departure from our normal broadcasting. I was asked to design a ritual show of pagan arts, a religious broadcast, I was unaware of the rites and proper order of the music except to attempt it which I did successfully. There are some suggestions for music but ideally it came down to me researching over 500,000 tracks for the perfect allotment. It was a commission project with the funds going right back into site maintenance. I poured timeless over each aspect for covens and pacts to use in their private ceremonies. The project took over 1 month to create and is found as Sinister Death episode 178.
