Well, kiddies, I hope you take a few minutes to read the Greetings for October 2022, it will lend some understanding to what happened in August. However, let’s focus on this past month, first there are 42 films, a majority of them were chosen by friends and fiends, of mine, and they continue to work off the path of anniversary films matching with other themes I and this site has conducted. You’ll notice a few days where I didn’t watch any horror films, as I’m in a long slow recovery path. Let’s dive into the numbers, the three oldest anniversary films were The Cat and the Canary [1927], The Most Dangerous Game [1932], and The Cat Girl [1957], with the respectively 95, 90, and 65 years old. Then by the decade 1980 proved once again as the most popular, with 13 movies; though shockingly nothing in the 90s was watched, though to be fair no representation for 1940s, I could under the decade but amazing nothing in the 90s, it’s amazing how the movies filter into the path of my vision. As those curious about the number of anniversary movies, well 29 films or 74%, which left a mere 10 movies there’s and again if a movie is released in 2022 I am not counting it to the anniversary pile as its zero. There was one thriller on the list Don’t Worry Darling, even horror fans need some variation to the plate of horror; also, there was customary inclusion of Toxic Zombies [1980] as it included for the late Charles McCrann, who was murdered on 9/11 at the firm’s World Trade Center. Finally, 39-movies watched and that shall not match what October is going to deliver.
